On October 16, 2023, a serious motorcycle accident occurred on the road between Kazanlak and Stara Zagora. The incident happened in the afternoon, when the rider lost control of the motorcycle and fell onto the asphalt. As a result of the impact, he sustained a severe knee injury, including a dislocated kneecap.
Members of the “Rescue Club for the Future” happened to be at the scene. Thanks to their quick reaction and professional skills, the injured motorcyclist received first aid before the emergency medical team arrived.
The club members demonstrated impressive ability to work under pressure. They secured the area around the accident to prevent further incidents and stabilized the injured person by applying temporary immobilization of the affected limb. Their actions were essential in reducing the risk of additional complications.
Passers-by who witnessed the situation expressed admiration for the volunteers’ fast and professional response. “In moments like this, you see how important it is to have people ready to act immediately,” one witness said.
